This stool is quietly elegant in its simplicity. This is one of the most extraordinary stools I have ever seen. There are plenty of 4 leg round stools though few which are so much taller than they are round and none with an extra, fifth leg in the center, with no apparent function except to demonstrate the exceptional skill of the man who carved it.
